What Electric Work Does a Kitchen Renovation Require?

There’s not any denying that kitchen renovations are a few of the most costly. However, if you do concerns right the first time, you won’t spend more than you have to. It is crucial to plan things carefully and correctly using a professional, doing so is going to provide you with a kitchen that offers secure and proper lighting, ventilation and electrical needs.

Kitchen Eelectrical Services

When you decide to renovate your kitchen, the first step is to contact a licensed electrician. It is crucial to realise there are standard requirements and placements for sockets and wires within the home and it’s normally something that you should not do all on your own. In reality, if you’re doing something more than just changing a light bulb, then local law need that a professional electrician takes over.

The kitchen is a dangerous place. There’s moisture which could impact kitchen appliances and the sockets must be far enough away from the kitchen sink to prevent any risks of electric shock and short circuits. The precise distance depends upon the size of the sink. If your sink holds a capacity of 45 lt. the electrical fittings should be no closer than 0.4m from the top of the sink and 0.15m from the sides. Better still, you should set up the fittings 1m away from the cover of the sink and 0.5m from the sides.
