Ceiling Fan Settings For Summer And Winter in Northpark

Most fan models have a important switch conveniently placed on the motor housing which changes the direction the fan blades turn for winter and summer.

In summer, use the setting that moves the air downwards to create a cool breeze, and then use it to recirculate the chilled air from the air conditioner.

Conversely, the chilly setting moves the fan in the opposite direction, softly recirculating the warm air back down through the edges of the room.

For those living in or near Northpark, this is a great way to conserve cash and energy while remaining comfortable year round. Take a moment in your seasonal plans to correct the ceiling fans setting for maximum comfort and economy.
