Ceiling Fan - Maraetai Summer & Winter Fan Settings

There’s a switch located on the housing of the motor in a fan and it can change the direction of a fan’s rotation from winter to summer.

In summer, use the setting that moves the air downwards to create a cool breeze, and then use it to recirculate the chilled air from the air conditioner.

On the other hand, during the winter you will want to use another setting, causing the warm air to be blown down toward the area in which it is installed.

For those living in or near Maraetai, this is a great way to conserve cash and energy while staying comfortable year round. Take a moment in your seasonal plans to adjust the ceiling fans setting for maximum comfort and economy.
